MatFresher’s unique multi-step process starts with brushes to clean both sides by removing hair and other topical debris that stick to mats. Next, both sides of the mat are exposed to ultraviolet (UV-C) light. Last, a delightful eucalyptus spritz is applied, making your mat smell great. Your mat is returned rolled and ready to go!
Yes! The MatFresher cleaning process begins by brushing both sides of your mat with gentle bristles that remove hair, dirt, and other debris.
Cost depends on your studio's plan. At many studios, MatFresher is free for members. At other studios, members purchase a package - monthly unlimited, 5-pack, or 10-pack.
At the end of a clean cycle, the MatFresher door at the bottom of the machine will open and present your clean and rolled mat. Simply bend down and collect your mat.
No mat preparation is required! Simply feed your mat “as-is” into MatFresher and in 35 seconds, collect your clean rolled mat.
It is easy! If your studio offers MatFresher for free, simply press START on the machine touchscreen and follow the directions. If your studio does not offer MatFresher for free, go to MatFresher.com to register. To clean, just enter your mobile number and PIN on the MatFresher!

As often as you shower and wash clothes after a workout :-) We recommend cleaning your mat each time it is used! A clear mind starts with a clean mat.
It is up to you! We recommend that you clean your mat between uses when it is most convenient for you.
No! MatFresher is designed to clean mats. Please do not try to put anything besides mats into MatFresher.
No! Your purchased MatFresher credits have no expiration date.
Yes! You can use your MatFresher credits at any gym or studio with MatFresher. All you need is your phone number and your PIN.
It is up to you! We recommend that you select auto-renew on your MatFresher account so that you always have credits to clean your mat.
Yes! You are certainly welcome to use your credits to treat a friend to a clean mat.
